Catawba Valley educators push for class size state legislation to protect arts programs from cuts at Save Our Schools rally

In February, the North Carolina General Assembly House of Representatives passed House Bill 13 (HB13) with overwhelming support.

The bill addresses the number of students in public school classrooms. Since its move to the N.C. Senate, progress has slowed and area teachers worry what the delay may mean.

The Save Our Schools group organized a rally Wednesday in Raleigh with other concerned citizens and educators to show support of the immediate passing of HB13.
