When Colleen Anderson moved to Catawba County in 1999 to attend school at Lenoir-Rhyne University, she did not know how involved in her community she would become.

Anderson serves as the president for the Greater Hickory Jaycees, serves on the Town Council for Catawba, and has a career as a nurse for long-term care patients.
