Catawba_SBC_LogoThe Catawba Valley Community College Small Business Center will present “Grant Writing 101–Elements of a Winning Proposal” on Tues., Feb. 2 from 9 to 11:30 am at CVCC’s Corporate Development Center in Hickory.

As funding becomes more difficult to secure, non-profit organizations face significant challenges to fulfill their missions.  This seminar reviews the questions non-profits need to answer prior to searching and applying for grant funds, outlines the basic elements of proposals, and shows participants how to match their needs to funder priorities.  Participants focus on incorporating this information into their research and ultimately into a competitive proposal.

This program is made possible by a grant from the Unifour Foundation Inc. Endowment, which is administered by the North Carolina Community Foundation.

There is no cost to attend this seminar, but pre-registration is required.  Participants can register on-line at http://sbc.cvcc.edu or contact the CVCC Small Business Center at 828-327-7000, ext. 4117.
