Catawba Valley Community College’s Information Technology Department in partnership with K-64 Learning will offer a week-long Ethical Computer Hacking Camp for rising sixth-through-eighth-graders July 15-19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the main college campus in Hickory.

This free camp provides middle school students with hands-on experience completing labs that are designed for the industry certification of Certified Ethical Hacker. Participants will learn how information networks function and get an opportunity to implement and break security in hands-on labs.
