Catawba Valley Community College broke the record it set last year at the North Carolina SkillsUSA Competition. CVCC won 20 first place gold medals and 13 second place silver medals at the recent competition in Greensboro.
In addition, the chapter received the Gold Medal Chapter of Distinction Award, setting CVCC among the top 24 SkillsUSA chapters in the nation.
First place winners will compete in the SkillsUSA National Conference Championships in Louisville in June. They include:
