Seniors from Newton-Conover and Discovery high schools got a chance to see what might be waiting for them after graduation during the Education Matters Career Prep Conference held Oct.11-12.
The event was held at Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) and also invited high school seniors from the Hickory Public Schools system during the week. This was the sixth year Education Matters has held the event, opened to local public school systems.
