Mayors from municipalities across Catawba County joined the Hickory Young Professionals on Thursday morning for a panel discussion for the first Inside the Metro event of the year.
Mayors from Hickory, Newton, Maiden, Claremont and Conover attended the discussion at the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce.
HYP serves as a networking organization for young professionals (ages 21-40) and offers the opportunity to engage in professional development, Zack DeLaRosa, president of HYP, said.
