A company with a manufacturing plant in Hildebran is being purchased by a company with a familiar name in the area.
Gildan Activewear Inc., based in Montreal, Quebec, announced Wednesday it is buying Peds Legwear Inc. for $55 million cash, according to a release from Gildan. It is expected to close on the deal by the end of August.
