While it’s not literally coming home for DeAnna Finger, her new job as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Catawba County Schools does have her returning to a district she knows well.
She spent the last two years working for Lincoln County Schools as the director of Federal Programs, Student Services and Pre-School where she also worked with Catawba County’s new Superintendent Matthew Stover, who took his position in November.
“She brings enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and the ability to get all folks on the boat rowing the same direction,” Stover said. “We are very excited she is on our team.”
