Principal Kisha Clemons smiled as she watched another bus roll up to Shuford Elementary on Monday morning.
She waved to the driver, waited for the door to open and then walked up into the bus and greeted the students on their first day back in school.
What the students didn’t realize was it was Clemons’ first day as well. She recently was hired as the school’s new principal and was happy to be back in Catawba County.
