Monday night at Market on Main, Carmen Eckard was annonced the winner of the 2017 Edison Project Competition with her business concept for Foothills Digest, a publication and website focused on coverage of the foothills region of North Carolina.
She received the grand prize of $10,000 to help her build her business.
