The Catawba Valley Furniture Academy, a public/private partnership between Catawba Valley Community College and major western N.C. furniture manufacturers, recently celebrated the success of graduates Jaime Ramirez of Conover and Maximo Cruz-Lopez of Hickory.
Their instructors were Vaughn Brown, outside upholstery; and Jorge Roman, inside upholstery.
