Publix Super Market in Hickory is slated to open in 2017 and work is already underway to relocate utilities for the new business.
Second Street NE between 28th Avenue NE and 28th Avenue Place NE was closed earlier this month and is expected to remain closed for approximately six weeks as the city relocates utilities for the new grocery store, according to a press release from the City of Hickory.
