
While high school graduation last week meant the ending of one journey and the beginning of another for most, the students coming out of Maiden High Schools’ Nursing Fundamental class were already well on their way to careers.
All 20 of them earned their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license level I prior to graduating, which is something that’s never happened at the school.
Maiden High’s Nursing Fundamentals instructor and Registered Nurse Sonya Wicker credited her students’ determination and dedication for the program’s sweeping success this year.
