Newton-Conover City Schools receives $20,000 Gizmos Science Success Grant as one of 50 sites selected nationwide. The grant provides up to 20 science teachers with a 12-month ExploreLearning Gizmos subscription, the world’s largest library of online science simulations and math manipulations for grades 3-12. Gizmos help students develop a deep understanding of challenging concepts through active inquiry and exploration, and are correlated to the state standards, and over 300 textbooks.
