A national furniture retailer will build a 250,0000-square-foot distribution center in Catawba County as it expands its showrooms around the country.
Minneapolis-based Room & Board Inc., which is supplied furniture by some Hickory-area manufacturers, will employ 13 in the $12.9 million facility. Plans call for the warehouse and distribution center to open in late 2020.
