St. Stephens grad’s welding classes spark success

When it comes to his education, Garrett Corneliussen has had an interesting journey.

He’s gone from receiving an “in danger of promotion” letter in eighth grade to graduating from St. Stephens High School in 2013 to earning a bachelor’s degree in welding and fabrication engineering technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport in December.

Now he has a job with Tesla as a manufacturing engineer.

The key to his success — don’t be afraid to fail.
