During Monday’s Catawba County Schools board meeting, Matthew Stover said it made him feel good to see plenty of smiling students the last couple of weeks.
Stover, CCS’ new superintendent, took his seat with the board for the first time at the meeting and shared highlights from his time going into schools where he talked about the core values he wants to establish in the system. They center on building strong relationships between staff, faculty and students along with developing content knowledge.
